Commentary: From everyday wear to serious diving
By giving the watch body a gently rounded case back, we achieved a design that feels stress-free in daily use and during skin diving. In addition, the beautifully polished surface gives it a finish that makes you want to touch it. The rotating bezel employs deeply recessed contours to ensure excellent operability even when wearing diving gloves, while leaving six rounded protrusions that provide a pleasant tactile feel and add rhythm to a shape that could otherwise become monotonous. With this comfortable-to-touch form, we have created a diver's watch that users will want to keep on their wrist at all times.

Organic Details

Watches, primarily made of metal, are products of industrial manufacturing, and nowadays, computers are mainly used in their design process. As a result, many designs tend to become inorganic. In this model, by incorporating curves and rounded edges into details such as the indexes, side surfaces of the case, bezel and case back edges, and the crown, a balance is achieved by adding organic elements to what could otherwise be an inorganic watch design. By adopting details that could even be described as biological in a sense, the shape is made moderately flexible, allowing it to be worn comfortably without psychological resistance or a sense of harshness for the wearer.
