For Top-of-the-Line Divers
Developed to invigorate the divers’ market by launching a high value-added product befitting top-of-the-line divers who perform saturation diving, while also aiming to enhance the brand image. With support from organizations such as JAMSTEC, we interviewed professional divers and, based on numerous improvement proposals—such as the issue of sand getting into the bezel (register ring) and causing poor rotation, and the finding that, when wearing gloves, being able to press and turn from above offers better operability—we designed the watch accordingly. We achieved high functionality and high reliability through features such as a detachable mechanism for the bezel (register ring), a strap attachment that does not rely on spring bars, and a mechanical module designed for extreme conditions where light does not reach.
