As we head toward 2024, marking 100 years since the launch of the pocket watch that bore the name “CITIZEN” in 1924, a pocket watch embodying the journey of the past century has been planned. It is not a mere reissue; it also serves to express CITIZEN today. Designers have been involved not only in the exterior design but also in wide-ranging deliberations such as the division of the movement’s bridge section and the finishing. Collaborating with various departments within the company and pooling our wisdom to create a single product was a valuable experience. We hope this pocket watch will connect with people 100 years from now.
