We want it to be called by its nickname

The original (previous) model released in 2006 gradually came to be affectionately called “ORCA” (killer whale) among users. Taking the opportunity of the remake, we redesigned it so you can feel the ORCA image even more strongly. Like the streamlined form of an orca that minimizes resistance underwater, we eliminated protrusions and recesses as much as possible, creating a case design with a flush surface composed entirely of curves. The polyurethane band evokes the back of an orca. As with nicknames like “Horns,” “Panda,” and “Ecozilla,” we designed it with the hope that users will grow attached to it and use it with affection. Winner of the Good Design Award in 2022.
