“Record” and “Memory”

This is a divers’ watch with a depth gauge that features a dive computer (IrDA module) capable of data exchange and storage via the included communication unit. It was designed with a focus on “convenience” and “legibility.” In addition, considering “operability” and “safety,” the push buttons have a full-flow form that does not protrude from the case to prevent malfunctions, yet for actual use we adopted larger buttons for easier operation even when wearing gloves. Although it is a professional diver’s watch, we kept the size close to that of a regular watch with town use in mind. Winner of the Good Design Award in 2001.
